Christmas 2008

Awesome season. Mo Tab, cookie decorating, Nutcracker, sledding, tons of snow, and Family gatherings are just a few.

We hit temple square with some of my sisters and their families:

Here are the kiddos in the annual Nelson Family Nativity.
Tink as an angel
Ty as Innkeeper #2. When he found out which part he was going to be, he exclaimed, "Innkeeper Number Two, I've always WANTED to be Innkeeper Number Two!!" Lofty goals, my boy, lofty goals. He did an excellent job exclaiming "I'm sorry. We have no Woom!"
Ash got to play the part of Mary this year. She was really excited and did it very lovingly.
The cast and crew
We celebrated with 90 of our nearest and dearest, and missed those that couldn't be there!
A small handful of great-grandchildren surrounding Great-grandfather for a photo.
Quite a crew, considering it's not even all of them!
The kids all ready for Christmas Eve in their pj's
The girls
Bree getting a little more love than she'd like!
Lots of presents for all 6 of us in this house! Thanks Santa!
Ash's loot
Ty's loot
Tink was simply MISERABLE on Christmas morning. Oh wait...Check out that grin!
Bree's small bounty. Soiled her pants, don't mind the bottom-less shot!
A blessing to be together and create more cherished memories.

Just love reading your blog. :) Looks like a magical Christmas at your house! I love the pictures of your kids in their jammies and of course all of the kids with Elder Nelson. Priceless!!

No way, American girl doll for Ashlyn! I forgot about those and I hope they'll still have them when Whitney is old enough to care about dolls

Talk about twin sister. I had to stare at her for a moment to realize it wasn't you. Looks like you had a great christmas.

Seriously, could your kids be ANY CUTER? I swear Ashlynn is destined for supermodeldom (is that a word?). Love the Christmas tree (since when are you a fancy decorator?). I am SO looking forward to being in Utah for next Christmas. I miss all that family/snow/temple lights thing.

P.S. Anna got an American Girl from Yard Sale Santa - it only cost him $5! SWEEEEEET!
