As we were watching Conference, Ty was doodling on his Conference Packet, when I heard him blurting out, rather loudly...
"Russell M?"
A little louder... "Russell M?!?"
Louder still... "RUSSELL M????"
I turned towards him with a puzzled look on my face. Apparently he was trying to fill out the last names for the apostles, and was asking for a little help on this one.
Really?!?!? I thought it was a little bit funny, and so did he when he realized just who he was confused on!
"Oh, NELSON!!!"

Classic. :) Oh Ty-ty. I love you 100.
That is funny! We just finished watching Elder Nelson:) Annabelle was paying super close attention to him because she was given the assignment from her primary teacher to listen specifically to his talk. He did a nice job and we appreciate him:) (and his words to keep public prayers within reason...:))
Ha!ha! That's great! If only the blank said Grandpa M. ??
That is so great. I love any stories about Tyler. What a funny guy.
That's adorable. I think of you every time I hear him speak. Just read his biography too... all I can say is I love him. :)
I wish I could meet your kids. :)
Too funny! He sounds like he is absolutely adorable. I love that innocent, honest stage. So cute!
After today, your grandfather is my new hero. I almost stood up and applauded in the middle of my living room when he asked us to keep public prayers short and simple (to paraphrase) and to not turn public prayers into uninvited sermons. This is definitely some counsel that I can easily and eagerly follow! I especially love it how he is so intellectual and proper, but he never ceases to throw in some humor. It really was a great day today - all around.
Oh, and I heard Michael Ringwood's name. It is so funny how people stay permanently fixed in your mind. My memories are of babysitting for them, and how Rosalie looked so young that she played a 16-year-old in our stake musical. I guess they are their kids will always be that young in my brain.
Anyway...Your entire family is simply adorable.
Oh, too cute! I would have been rolling, although probably note quite so appropriate for conference!
Oh how funny!
That is so classic!
Hey, give the kid a break. Maybe he got him confused with M. Russell Ballard. M. Russell, Russell M. It's an honest mistake. Just kidding. That's so funny.
That is funny! Such a cute boy you have!
That is hilarious!! Love it!
C'mon Katie! Do you teach your children NOTHING?!?
Oh I just love that Little Ty-guy. Can't wait to get a big smile from that kiddos. What a cutie.
I don't always comment...but I love my KATIE updates! I just finished your post about simplifying and soaking up the important stuff. Amen. :)
